Washington County Library Launches Summer Reading Program: “Color Our World”

Get ready to add a splash of color to your summer! The Washington County Library is excited to announce the launch of its annual Summer Reading Program, themed “Color Our World”—a vibrant celebration of imagination, exploration, and the joy of reading.

The program kicks off Monday, June 16, and runs through Friday, July 25, offering weeks of fun and enrichment for young readers from preschool through sixth grade. Folders will be available beginning June 16, tailored for two age groups: Preschool—Kindergarten and First—Sixth Grade. These folders include reading logs, instructions, and a schedule of exciting library events.

Registration closes on Monday, June 30, so sign up early to secure your spot in this colorful summer adventure.

Even if you’re attending summer school, you can still sign up! Get your reading folder, check out books to enjoy, and join us for the fun events planned throughout the rest of the program when summer school is over.

We can’t wait to welcome all the boys and girls for a summer filled with stories, creativity, and color. Join us at the Washington County Library and let’s Color Our World—one book at a time!
